Lil Boosie, one of the biggest stars in the history of Louisiana, has added a new title to his repertoire: wedding officiant.
As someone who plays music throughout the Ark-La-Tex seven days a week, I can say that Boosie holds a special place in the hearts of Louisianians. I might go as far as saying he’s our state’s most recognizable star. No matter the age, sex, or race, Lil Boosie remains easily one of the most requested artists in Louisiana, regardless of the event. I’ve played Lil Boosie at class reunions, weddings, birthday parties, school functions, and every event in between.
Although Gordon McKernan is a close contender, Boosie remains the unrivaled favorite. His music has a timeless appeal and continues to be the most requested by far at any event in Louisiana. Recently, Boosie revealed that he’s now an ordained minister, ready to officiate weddings. Imagine walking down the aisle on that big day, and seeing Boose down on the other end.
Taking to Instagram, Boosie shared his excitement and a snapshot of his license from Universal Life Church Ministries, declaring his new ability to officiate weddings immediately effective. He expressed enthusiasm for his new role in his post, inviting those interested to contact him if they want “Boosie to marry you. I got my mother******’ license,” he announced, showcasing his trademark flair that only Lil Boosie can generate.
So, what does this cost? Well, you might be shocked
Having Boosie officiate your wedding, however, comes with a hefty price tag, ranging from $75,000 to $100,000. While the cost might seem steep, experience in the wedding industry has shown that passionate couples are willing to spend significantly to make their big day memorable. For many in Louisiana, having Boosie play a part in their wedding is undoubtedly a dream worth the expense.
After all, if you had the money to spend, how could anyone imagine that hefty price tag wouldn’t be worth it… It’s Lil Boosie!
