It’s confirmed that Apple’s upcoming iOS 18 will introduce new AI-powered capabilities and modifications to texting for iPhone users. However, those with older iPhone models might miss out on these features.
During the World Wide Developers Conference on Monday, Apple showcased the extensive features of iOS 18. This update is set to enhance customization on the iPhone, adding to the options introduced in iOS 17, including AI enhancements and messaging improvements.
With iOS 18, iPhone users can customize their home screens, schedule text messages for later, and remain connected without needing cellular data or Wi-Fi, provided they can install the update.
Texting will see significant changes with iOS 18. However, there may be hurdles to obtaining the update, such as insufficient storage capacity, a common issue with major updates, which are typically several gigabytes large.
The size of iOS 18 hasn’t been disclosed, but based on previous updates, it’s expected to be substantial.
